Parfaits are the perfect way to start your day or as a snack when you’re feeling hungry! Even better – It's something you can eat and not feel guilty about! This recipe contains nutrients such as protein, fiber, natural sugars, and healthy fats to help power you throughout the day.
Yogurt naturally contains lots of probiotic cultures, but as you may know, the vast majority of those helpful microbes will not survive past the stomach. That’s why I’ve added a cap of Just Thrive Probiotic – To ensure you’re getting maximum beneficial bacteria support. And to help your good gut microbes thrive, I’ve also included a scoop of Precision PREbiotic drink mix. I LOVE the tropical flavor, which helps transform the plain Greek yogurt into something healthy and yummy with a fun citrus twist.
Chia seeds are a fast easy way to get in a lot of fiber and omega 3! You can sprinkle them on anything. All you have to do is soak them in milk for 20 mins if you want to soften them. Soaked chia seeds can be refrigerated for up to 5 days.
Since this is the month of our independence, I thought I’d make a little red, white and blue parfait to celebrate. This recipe can be tweaked for any time of year to bring along to a party, throw in your childs or spouse's lunch, or just whip up one for yourself! Not only is this fun to make, but you can switch out the fruit or add different flavors of granola to your preference.
