Instead of processed sugar, this recipe uses maple syrup for natural sweetness, while almond flour keeps the brownies gluten-free and nutrient-dense. Pumpkin Brownies

Bake Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

Directions: 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
  2. Add the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, egg, and vanilla extract to a large mixing bowl.
  3. Once fully combined, add in the almond flour, unsweetened cacao powder, baking soda, baking powder, and contents of Just Thrive Probiotic capsules. Mix until combined.
  4. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, and spread batter in an even layer.
  6. Top with additional chocolate chips.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, rotating the pan 180 degrees halfway through.
  8. Remove from the oven, and immediately add flaky sea salt.
  9. Let cool, slice, and enjoy!

Note: To make this recipe vegan, replace the egg with a flax egg. Mix 1 tbsp of ground flax seed with 2 tbsp of water. Let sit for 5–10 minutes before adding into the batter.

Storage Instructions: Store the brownies in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature or in the fridge for 1 week.
