Gut-yummy Yogurt Parfait

Spring has officially sprung and I don’t know about you but with the weather getting warmer my body tends to crave lighter foods. This yogurt parfait makes the perfect breakfast or even snack since it contains protein, fiber and healthy fats — plus it has so many health benefits!

Greek yogurt - amazing source of protein

Organic Honey - helps with blood sugar regulation

Granola - packed with fiber and good carbs for energy

Berries - full of antioxidants (hello glowing skin!)

Nut butter - healthy fats to keep you full

This gut loving yogurt parfait only takes a couple minutes to throw together and will keep you satiated for hours! 

Plus it also satisfies that sweet tooth. Sometimes I like to make this into more of a dessert and will mix some chocolate protein powder with my yogurt and also add in some cacao nibs or chocolate chips. 

The options are really endless (and always yummy!)

Gut-yummy Yogurt Parfait 

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 0 minutes
Total time: 5 minutes
Course: breakfast, snack, dessert
Diet: whole foods focused 
Servings: 1

Ingredients:

  • 1 small container of greek yogurt (ideally non-dairy)

  • Drizzle of honey to naturally sweeten the yogurt (optional)
  • Your favorite granola (ideally gluten free)
  • Nut butter of choice (I like almond butter)
  • Fresh berries (or fruit of choice)

Directions:

  1. Mix your yogurt and honey in a small bowl

  3. Top with fresh berries and your favorite granola
  4. Drizzle your favorite nut butter on top and enjoy!
