Tropical Shrimp Prebiotic Salad

Last year, when it started to really feel like spring, I wanted to celebrate by creating something light, fun and tropical! That’s how I came up with the fantastically delicious, healthy, and crowd-pleasing side dish affectionately known as: 

Tropical Shrimp Salad!

In my opinion, it’s a far superior and far healthier alternative to pasta salad or potato salad. It’s loaded with antioxidants and nutrients to keep you healthy. And a huge benefit is that it’s extremely low carb and dairy free!

But can you guess where this dish gets its secret, tropical flair?

Tropical Shrimp Prebiotic Salad


  • 1 pound of shrimp 
  • Coconut oil
  • 4 capsules of Just Thrive Probiotic
  • 1 scoop of Just Thrive Precision PREbiotic
  • 1 tsp taco seasoning 
  • 1 diced mango 
  • 1 cup diced pineapple 
  • 1/4 cup red onion 
  • 1 jalapeño diced very small 
  • 1 avocado diced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro 
  • Juice of 1 lime 
  • 1 crushed clove of garlic 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin 
  • Salt and pepper to taste 


  1. Heat your oven to 400 degrees 
  2. Mix your raw shrimp with a little coconut oil and taco seasoning 
  3. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until cooked.
  4. Mix the rest of the ingredients into a large bowl. Don’t forget to open your capsules of Just Thrive Probiotic and mix in the contents!
  5. Once the shrimp have cooled, add them to the tropical salsa and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, this recipe is meant to be served cold. Can be stored for up to two days.
