If you’re reading this, you’re likely no stranger to the incredible effects of probiotics on gut and total body health. Personally, I am particularly fond of getting as many of those miracle gut-friendly buddies into my system. All those good bacteria in the gut go a long way in supporting your immune system and play a massive role in nearly every facet of our health – right from digestion, to energy levels, to weight gain, and even anxiety!
As I always say when it comes to gut support - "A little every single day, will keep you healthy a long way".
In the past, I’ve sometimes had trouble popping pills – That’s why I do my best to try and find ways of incorporating their contents into everyday meals to maximize the benefit. So, when I learned that Just Thrive Probiotic strains can survive SUPER high temperatures and retain their potency, I skipped with joy! With any recipe, I can just break open a capsule or 2 in my meals and make my family gobble them down without them even knowing!
For this particular recipe – The creation of my P² Pancakes came on a lovely spring day when I was trying to come up with a picnic snack that I could carry along for the kids to give them the benefit of something tasty and healthy and that they could gorge on guilt-free.
These gluten-free pancakes incorporate the goodness of finger millets, pasture-raised eggs, and (of course) Just Thrive Probiotic, and make for an excellent breakfast and snack option. I hope you enjoy having them as my family does!
The P² Pancake (Recipe)Ingredients
Instructions Step 1– Mash the bananas with a spoon or fork in a mixing bowl Step 2– Crack the eggs into the bowl and whisk them well with the mashed bananas. Step 3– Add sprouted ragi flour, the powder from 3 Just Thrive Probiotic capsules, and cardamom along with the rest of the ingredients. Mix them well till they amalgamate into a nice flowy batter. Step 4– Heat your cast iron pan or skillet. Add a generous quantity of coconut oil, enough to shallow fry the pancakes and get the goodness of the coco oil into our bodies too. Step 5- Add spoonsful of the batter once the oil is warm to form little pancakes. Flip it to the other side after it develops a nice browned surface. These pancakes taste best when served warm. But they taste delicious anyway. |
Sending lots of healthy and gut-friendly wishes your way.
