Superfood Holiday Chocolate Bark

I wanted to make something for the holidays that would not only satisfy my sweet tooth, but that’s good for me too. That way I can snack without guilt :)  

Not only is holiday bark so much fun to make, it’s a wonderful superfood! You can get creative when making this by adding all your favorite toppings from nuts to dried fruits. I’m a big fan of sweet and salty, so I like to add salted pistachios. But be creative and add what you like, you really can’t go wrong!

This recipe features dark chocolate and cranberries which are rich in antioxidants and have been shown to help reduce blood pressure. They are the perfect flavor combination and make this bark absolutely delicious. You’ll also find pistachios and coconut, which are loaded with fiber so they will help you stay fuller for longer (and aid the good bacteria in your gut).

Superfood Holiday Chocolate Bark

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Total time: 40 minutes
Course: dessert
Servings: 10-14 depending on size you cut

Ingredients

  • 1 lb dark chocolate 
  • ¼ cup pistachios 
  • ¼ cup dried cranberries
  • ¼ cup walnuts
  • ¼ cup almonds
  • Handful of dried coconut
  • Handful of yogurt covered raisins
  • 2 capsules of Just Thrive Probiotic

Directions:

  1. Melt your chocolate in a double broiler on low heat.
  2. Add in the capsules of Just Thrive Probiotic to your melted chocolate
  3. Pour the chocolate on a parchment lined cookie sheet and spread out with a spatula.
  4. Add all your toppings
  5. Cool in the fridge for about 20 minutes until hard
  6. Cut into smaller pieces and enjoy!
