Butternut squash soup is the ideal comfort food. This recipe just screams fall to me! I love to make this after a day of raking some leaves or picking pumpkins!
FUN FACT- Butternut squash is technically a fruit! It is also loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants.
I’m always trying to find ways to get more magnesium into my diet. My absolute favorite benefit of butternut squash is that it’s high in magnesium! And, one cup of cooked butternut squash has only 83 calories and 7 grams of fiber! That means it’s quite possibly the perfect dish to help maintain a healthy weight.
The flavors in this recipe are to die for! The roasted pepper really gives it that special touch. And – I wanted to kick this recipe up a notch by adding in Just Thrive Probiotic. This ensures I’m supporting my best gut-flora balance and cultivating great digestive health… After all, my gut needs all the help it can get! Especially around Halloween with all the candy!
Just Thrive Probiotic also helps encourage wonderful energy, improve sleep and even promotes healthy skin! The best part is I can add this into any recipe and bake with it without affecting the potency of the probiotic or the taste of the recipe!
And I love that Just Thrive Probiotic has 1000x better survivability than yogurt or leading brands and is proven to address leaky gut within 30 days! Sprinkle it into your daily meals and your gut will thank you.
So let's get cooking! I can’t wait to hear how much you love this recipe.
