Chili Lime Probiotic Pork Chops

Father’s Day is upon us!  And what do most men love to do?? Grill! Now that the weather is warmer, I am barbecuing more often and always coming up with fun recipes so meals don’t get boring.  

I never realized before, but pork is richer in vitamins and minerals compared to chicken. It’s loaded with vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamins B1, B2, B12 and zinc! And if you can buy pasture raised, grass fed pork, even better! Personally, I love my monthly box from – It’s healthy, better for the planet meat delivered right to my door each month. 

These pork chops are packed with flavor! I love the touch of tang you get from the lime juice and the spicy kick from the chili. It's such an easy meal and you can prep for it ahead of time. I love meals I can toss in a marinade and let sit until I’m ready to cook. There is nothing better after a busy day than being able to make a quick healthy dinner.

For this recipe I also added Just Thrive Probiotic to the marinade. (NOTE: I also use the marinade to baste the chops as they’re grilling.) Ok… Let's get started – I hope you love this BBQ pork as much as I do, to celebrate the Fathers in your life or just for any day you feel like barbecuing! 

Chili Lime Probiotic Pork Chops


  • 4 pork chops
  • 4 Just Thrive Probiotic capsules
  • 1 Lime juiced 
  • 3 cloves garlic - minced
  • ½ cup red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 TBSP Chili powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper 
  • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


  1. In a large zip lock bag or a large bowl, add in the Just Thrive Probiotic (open cap, dump in contents), lime juice, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, all the spices and cilantro. 
  2. Mix/shake this all together then add in the pork chops and put into the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat up your BBQ to medium high heat. 
  4. Add your pork chops and cook for about 5 minutes. Flip and cook an additional 5 minutes until the internal temperature is 145 degrees. I like to baste the pork chops as they are cooking for added flavor. 
  5. Remove the pork chops and let them rest 5 minutes. 
  6. Garnish with additional cilantro and lime juice.
