  2. Add the diced sweet potatoes, and spread them into an even layer. Let them cook undisturbed for about 5 minutes to allow browning. Stir and continue cooking for another 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fork-tender and lightly crisped.
  3. Add the onion, garlic, smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes, until fragrant and the onion softens.

  5. Create small wells in the hash and crack an egg into each one. Cover the skillet and cook until the eggs reach your preferred doneness.
