Have you made your own homemade granola yet?
First, let me just tell you... After you embark on your maiden granola-making voyage, you’ll wish you always did!
It’s simple, healthy and you can pick and choose the ingredients that go in it. No need to read the labels on a package at the store to make sure it doesn’t contain something you are allergic or have sensitivity to. It’s your creation!
Second, adding a GOOD Quality PROBIOTIC to your granola brings it to a higher and healthier level.
Good quality probiotics are so important for gut health, and it’s likely you’ve tried your hand at a few different brands. But did you know?... They are not all created equal.
I will only take Just Thrive Probiotic, and here’s why:
After years of spending my money on different products with little to no results, I finally decided to dig into the research around gut health. What I learned was startling to say the least… Read below if you want to learn more about how Just Thrive is different and how they can help you support your optimal digestive, immune, and emotional health!
But first, here’s the recipe...
Healthy Homemade Granola With Probiotic Power
STEP 1
Get all the ingredients needed! MAKE SURE you are using gluten free oats since this recipe is a GUT-FRIENDLY GRANOLA.
Ingredients:
📍 3 cups gluten free, glyphosate free rolled oats
📍 1 cup raw pecan nuts ( or nut of your choice )
📍 4 tbsp organic pumpkin seeds
📍 1 cup organic coconut chips
📍 1 tbsp raw cacao
📍 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
📍 4 tbsp maple syrup ( you can add more if you like it sweeter )
📍 2 capsules of @justthrivehealth probiotics
📍 2-3 tbsp water to help with binding the ingredients - pinch of Himalayan salt
STEP 2
Add all ingredients in a bowl and mix well until everything is combined . At this point you can do a taste test and see if you prefer more sweetener.
Step 3
Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 300 F
Step 4
Let it cool down before adding the granola in a jar.
Once it’s ready, here’s how I love to make the most of my homemade granola:
- Use as a topping for non-dairy, non-gmo yogurt
- Add to gluten-free muffins
- Roll bananas in the granola and freeze
- Use as a topping for salad
- Or just grab a handful on the go!
But Why Add Probiotics?
To clarify, I won’t add just any probiotic to my recipes.
I only use Just Thrive because it has 1000x better survivability vs leading probiotic products. That means it’s built to survive the trip from your mouth to your gut and arrive 100% intact and ready to go to work.
Just Thrive Probiotic features a proprietary strain called Bacillus indicus HU36®. It’s super unique because it produces antioxidants directly in the digestive system, where they can be best absorbed by your body!
And I love using Just Thrive in my recipes – It’s tasteless, odorless, and unlike most probiotics on the market, you can add Just Thrive to just about anything due to its incredible ability to maintain potency.
You can throw it into a stovetop and stir fry on high heat...
You can bury it in banana pudding and deep freeze it...
You can even beat it into a brownie mix and THEN put it into the oven to bake at 400…
(Parents - this is especially useful if you have a little one at home who has a hard time swallowing pills)
Personally, I love talking about my experience using Just Thrive Probiotic because I want to spread the word about how to support optimal gut and digestive health.
Do you ever experience bloating or indigestion?
Just do what I do – I take one Just Thrive Probiotic, and my bloating and indigestion is gone.
It’s the only thing that works for me and I’m thrilled that I can give my tummy such easy and consistent relief.
I've also noticed that it helped me with bloat. If I accidentally eat something that contains almonds and I get bloated, Just Thrive counterbalances things in no time.
It’s a total game changer!
Thank you my friends 🌱
