Gutlicious Crab Cakes

If you’re a crab cake lover, then this is the perfect recipe for you! Your family will think you ordered from a gourmet restaurant, they’re that good.

Crab cakes are actually really easy to make at home and way cheaper than ordering out! They are a delicious appetizer, side, or main dish, and they’re packed with a lot of flavor. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this is the perfect meal to surprise your loved one!

Crab meat is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids and lean meat. It can also benefit your circulatory system due to the high copper levels in the meat. There are also high levels of vitamin B-12!

I like to top my crab cakes with a mango salsa! It’s much lighter than a mayonnaise based sauce and a bit healthier.

Gutlicious Crab Cakes

  1. Combine all of the ingredients except for the crab meat in a large bowl.
  2. Gently fold your crab meat into the mixture to combine.
  3. Form into four crab cakes and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet on medium. Once the pan is hot, add your crab cakes, and cook for about five minutes each side.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges, mango salsa, or a remoulade!
