Dubai Date Chocolate Bars (“Lucky Bars”)

Get ready to indulge in a decadent yet nutritious treat this St. Patrick’s Day! These Dubai Date Chocolate Bars (aka "Lucky Bars") combine rich dark chocolate, creamy sprouted pistachio butter, and naturally sweet Medjool dates for a bite-sized delight that feels as lucky as a pot of gold. Dubai Date Chocolate Bars (“Lucky Bars”)

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Take the Medjool dates, cut in half, and remove the pit.
  2. In a chocolate bar mold (this is the mold I use) add the dates, cover with a parchment paper, and use a rolling pin to press down the dates.
  3. Spread the sprouted pistachio butter on top of the dates.
  4. Using a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate chips. Next step pour 1/2 of the melted dark chocolate on top of the pistachio butter spread. Place in the refrigerator to set.
  5. When the chocolate is set, in a second chocolate mold pour the other half of the melted dark chocolate. Take the chocolate that was setting in the refrigerator and flip it on top of the new mold, this way you’ve created a chocolate bar. Set in the refrigerator to completely set.

Note: Keep refrigerated if not eaten right away, for a longer shelf life!
