Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl Powered by Just Thrive Probiotic

If you’re like most Americans, as soon as Autumn springs into action, so too do the colder weather dessert recipes.

And if you had to guess, which particular dessert recipe gets pulled out most often?

Cakes?

Tarts?

Hot Chocolate?

A 2014 confirmed what most of us grew up inherently understanding:

Americans’ preferred cold weather dessert is apple pie

In fact, for the United States, our devotion to this fruity baked goddess goes well beyond the delicious taste.

It’s become a symbol of home, a sigil of comfort, and a classic emblem of patriotism.

A Classic Dessert Gets A Gut-Healthy Update

Pie – specifically apple pie – is one delicious way to coax even the most health-food-resistant of us to eat some fruit.

Of course, the typical apple pie recipe is loaded with enough sugar and processed ingredients that cancel out any redeeming health characteristics apples can offer.

But let’s not throw the apple-baby out with the bathwater.

Apples are an exceptionally healthy fruit with so many wonderful benefits.

They’re a good source of fiber and vitamin C.

They promote heart health because of their high content of soluble fiber.

Apples also contain pectin, a type of fiber that acts as a prebiotic.

At Just Thrive, we love our bacteria, and we especially love anything that supports the growth of beneficial bacteria. After all, a strong and well-balanced microbiome can be an absolute game changer when it comes to how you feel.

That’s why we love this delicious guest blog from our good friend Ligia (at Ligia’s Fresh Bowls @ligiasfreshbowls) – It combines the “keep the doctor away” power of apples with the bacterial might of our award-winning probiotic.

Do Probiotics Mix Well With Any Recipe?

The short answer is:

It depends.

The secret is selecting a specific type of probiotic.

Only a strain known as spore probiotics have the fortitude and strength to withstand ANY recipe requirement.

Unlike most probiotics on the market, you can add spore probiotics – Like the strains found in our award winning Probiotic & Antioxidant – to just about anything!!

As an example:

Just Thrive’s spore-based probiotic is tasteless, odorless, and mixes perfectly into any recipe.

Yes, even if you throw it into a stovetop stir fry on high heat.

Yes, even if you bury it in banana pudding and deep freeze it.

And yes, even if you beat it into a brownie mix and THEN put it into the oven to bake at 400…

(Parents - this is especially useful if you have a little one at home who has a hard time swallowing pills)

Spore probiotics – the specific, proprietary super strains in our probiotic product – are wholly unique and amazingly resilient.

And that’s no exaggeration.

Example #1:

👉  Super Strain Bacillus Indicus HU36

This is the strain that makes Just Thrive Probiotic such a game-changer in the probiotic market. Bacillus HU36 is a well-studied, unique, patented strain that offers the most effective probiotic & antioxidant support on the market.

In fact, HU36 turns your digestive tract into an antioxidant factory, producing the digestive and immune support necessary to neutralize free radicals (toxic by-products that

damage your cells.)

When it comes to fighting free radicals, antioxidants are your body’s most trusted warriors. And stopping free radicals is a MUST if you want to feel your best.

Example #2:

👉  Super Strain Bacillus Subtilis HU58

Bacillus Subtilis has been extensively studied on a genetic and functional level. One of this strain’s very interesting characteristics is its ability to effectively fight against opportunistic and harmful bacteria.

Bacillus Subtilis also produces a number of other nutrients that have systemic health benefits and has been shown to supercharge the growth of your natural, beneficial bacteria.

To boot, this strain is so resilient that researchers at California Polytechnic State University reported reviving Bacillus spores from the gut of a 25-million-year-old bee that was fossilized in amber!
