Espresso Chocolate Bliss Balls

Most desserts today are basically a sugar bomb pretending to be a treat. They usually have a long ingredient list and come with a spike, a crash, and that weird moment where you’re still hungry but also done eating for the day.

These espresso chocolate bliss balls are not that. At all.

They’re rich and chocolatey and actually satisfying, without the refined sugar pileup or ultra-processed nonsense that turns dessert into a regret situation. The kind of treat you can enjoy and move on without the guilt.

They take about fifteen minutes to make. No oven. No mixer. No gymnastics. Just ingredients that make sense together and taste great.

A Dessert That Knows When to Stop

Cocoa does the heavy lifting here. Think deep, classic chocolate flavor.

The espresso shows up quietly, just enough to sharpen things without turning this into coffee candy. Almond butter pulls everything together into a soft, fudgy texture that feels indulgent without being too much.

It’s sweet, but not loud about it. And because it’s no-bake, it’s super simple to whip up whenever a craving strikes. One bowl. One spoon. Roll, chill, done.

Where Gut Support Fits In (Without Ruining the Vibe)

This recipe is also one of the easiest places to add gut support without overthinking it.

Just Thrive Probiotic blends right into the mixture with no taste and no texture change. You’re not turning dessert into homework or adding another step to your day. You’re just making something you already want a little smarter.

That’s it.

Perfect For Real Life

These bliss balls are great to keep in the fridge for:

  • A post-dinner sweet bite
  • Something to grab with your afternoon coffee
  • A quick dessert when you want chocolate but don’t want to go overboard
  • They live happily in the fridge, travel well, and don’t need a holiday or a reason.

Just a good dessert that doesn’t ask too much of you.

Espresso Chocolate Bliss Balls

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Diet: Gluten-free, vegetarian
Course: Dessert or snack
Servings: 20–24 bliss balls

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the almond butter, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond flour, espresso powder, vanilla extract, sea salt, and the contents of the Just Thrive Probiotic capsules.
  2. Stir until a thick, uniform dough forms. The mixture should be soft but easy to handle.
  3. Taste the mixture and add additional espresso powder if a stronger coffee flavor is desired.
  4. If the mixture feels too dry, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time until it holds together. If it feels too sticky, add a small spoonful of almond flour. If the dough is too soft to roll, place it in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
  5. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture, and roll it between your palms to form a ball.
  6. Roll each ball in cocoa powder or chopped dark chocolate, if using.
  7. Place the bliss balls on a parchment-lined plate or baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
