Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher

Guest recipe and blog by Ligia / @ligiasfreshbowls

We’re in the full swing of SUMMER! And it’s HOT!

But let me ask you – Who doesn’t love fresh lemonade to help cool down on a hot summer day? It brings back childhood memories filled with carefree, school-free days... Days where we didn’t think about how much sugar was in that lemonade or actually, where it even came from!

Ahhh, the innocence of childhood. As I’ve grown, I’ve learned that I need to pay attention to what I’m putting in my body, especially when it comes to things like sugar. Do you know the alarming amount of sugars (and other unnecessary ingredients) that are put in our everyday food and drinks?

Next time you are out shopping, stop and take a look at some labels on the most popular drinks on the market. Like your lemonade that’s made from “the best stuff on earth” may not be telling the whole truth.  It is really astounding!

So, instead of grabbing that pouched or boxed lemonade that is filled with ingredients that work against the health and vitality of your body, you can make your own! And this one is so delicious and good for you, you’ll wonder why you weren’t making it homemade from the start.

This super refreshing twist on lemonade is not only a healthier option, but it features Just Thrive Probiotic, which means you’re filling your belly with good bacteria too!  You can make this by the glass or the pitcher, just adjust as needed.

Enjoy these long, hot summer days, sip on your homemade lemonade, and feel good knowing you’re giving yourself and those you love the best!

And now, on to the recipe…
